Storm Arwen to hit Manchester - hour-by-hour weather forecast

Storm Arwen is expected to rain down on the city of Manchester at some point over the next 48 hours, according to a yellow weather warning from the Met Office.

The warning is expected to last from 12am to 6pm on Saturday and could potentially bring torrential rainfall and overpowering winds to the North West.

The Met Office have also placed a ‘danger to life’ indicator over the storm, with potential widespread disruption to travel and flying debris caused by gales.
