Manchester and the North West will face a mixed week starting off cloudy before clearing up somewhat and turning colder as we enter the final weekend of February, according to the Met Office weather forecast. But as the weather turns colder, it is looking to stay mainly dry with only some odd showers across the region.

Today (February 21), as some mist and fog roll over the hills, we will see a largely dry and cloudy day with temperatures peaking at 11 °C. There is a small risk of some light drizzle of rain throughout the day, however.

Temperatures could drop as the week continues into the weekend with dry weather with some sunny spells and some frosty mornings.
