Storm Babet: Live updates on Met Office amber rain warning in Greater Manchester and flood warning issued

Storm Babet has well and truly arrived in the UK, and Manchester has not been left untouched. A Met Office weather warning for rain is in place with heavy rain expected today.
The weather warning is set to expire early tomorrow morning. Saturday will be much calmer and drier and weekend plans should remain unaffected by the weather.

The Environment Agency has issued a flood warning for parts of Greater Manchester. The warning currently covers Oldham, Bolton and Rochdale.
