Kids and adults rejoice as Halloween is here  where costumes and candy abound. For those doing the rounds in Manchester, the Met Office forecast shows an umbrella might be necessary for those who want to keep their trick or treating outfits in good condition.

The Met Office forecast shows Monday will be generally cloudy throughout the day. That is however set to change in favour of some heavy rain later in the evening.

After a dry day with temperatures around 16C, rain is likely to come in around 6pm this evening and is predicted to pick up for some heavy rain later on in the evening and throughout the night.

On the positive side, Manchester won’t see too much wind, making it easier for those braving the rain with umbrellas. Temperatures will be between 13C and 16C throughout the day and night.

So get ready to collect all the candy you can carry as Manchester prepares for Halloween. But don’t forget an umbrella!
