The Met Office has now detailed the forecast for the Easter weekend, which kicks off with Good Friday on April 7. The four day weekend will then come to a close on Monday April 10.

The early indication is that Manchester is in for a relatively mild and dry weekend. The warmest day of the weekend looks set to be Easter Sunday, where temperatures could reach 16C.

If outdoor events, such as BBQs or garden parties are on the agenda, then you’ll be on the lookout for sunny weather. Good Friday is set to be the sunniest of the four day weekend, with temperatures peaking at 13C in the afternoon.

Saturday and Easter Monday look set to be very similar in terms of weather. Both are set to be cloudy, but temperatures should reach mild levels and peak at roughly 14C.
