We are less than a month away from Valentine’s Day, the day most known for giving gifts to the ones you love. February 14 is not far away, and many people may be wondering what presents to buy for the significant people in their lives.
Chocolate is arguably the most popular gift on this annual day of love. Whether you love white, milk, dark or prefer something else altogether, there’s no doubt this sweet treat is at the top of the table when it comes to Valentine’s Day presents.

Its owners say they get people from as far afield as Birmingham and the north east coming to pick up cakes to order and other treats,
We went down to meet the owner and founder John Slattery in the Whitefield shop and talk to him about what makes great chocolate and when he expects most people to run out and get their hands on Valentine’s Day sweet treats.
He said: “Chocolate makes us feel good when we eat it. It’s the chemical reaction within our body. It gives us the same feeling as when you fall in love with somebody.”
