Tyron Riley: teenager arrested in Salford murder probe

A 17-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of murder, as part of an investigation into the fatal stabbing of a Salford man.

‘Devoted dad’ Tyron Riley, 31, was fatally stabbed in Clarendon Park, Salford, after midnight on Tuesday 27 December 2022. Police said today that a teenager handed himself in at a police station on 1 January and remained in custody for questioning on Monday.

Detectives continue to appeal for information, which can be given by contacting police via 101 quoting incident number 12 of the 27/12/2022.
