Metrolink: Victoria engineering works to impact four tram lines this weekend - replacement bus details

TfGM has issued a warning to those intending to jump on the Metrolink.

If you are planning on using the Metrolink to get around Greater Manchester this weekend, it’s advised you plan ahead. This comes as Transport for Greater Manchester confirms engineering work will take place at Victoria.

As a result, no trams will operate through Victoria on Sunday June 2. The Bury, Rochdale, East Didsbury and Airport lines will be affected. To help keep people moving, replacement bus services will be in operation. The timetable for these will be published on the TfGM website.

Metrolink service pattern June 2 2024

Tram services will operate as follows:

  • Bury – Queens Road

  • East Didsbury – Exchange Square
  • Manchester Airport – Cornbrook
  • Trafford Centre – Deansgate-Castlefield
  • Altrincham – Etihad Campus
  • Ashton-under-Lyne – Eccles via MediaCityUK

Services will operate every 15 minutes. Staff will be at key locations to help customers complete their journey
