The train operator has made a habit of adding extra trains to get fans back home after big gigs. Two November shows are also set to get this treatment, with late night services running for two gigs in two days.
Rock band Sleep Token take to the stage at the venue on Tuesday November 26 and Charlie XCX has a show pencilled in for Wednesday November 27. Fans will have a service in the early hours of the following morning for both of these shows.

Hide AdThe late Sleep Token show will leave Manchester Victoria at 12.54am on Wednesday November 27. At the same time on Thursday November 28, after the Charlie XCX show, another service will depart to make sure fans can get back home.
Both of the services have the final destination of Liverpool Lime Street. The services will also both stop at Newton-le-Willows and Lea Green.
Kathryn O’Brien, Customer Experience & Transformation Director at TransPennine Express, said: “We are pleased to be able to offer these extra services to help get fans home after enjoying these concerts. We’re asking our customers to plan ahead and check before they travel as services may be busy. Fans who haven’t yet purchased their rail tickets to travel to the concert can do so via TPE’s website.”
