We talked to locals about the best places to live in Manchester after The Sunday Times revealed three areas of Greater Manchester were some of the most desirable places to live in the UK.

The Sunday Times best places to live in the UK list has been revealed for 2023 and some areas in Greater Manchester have made the cut.

The city centre, Sale and Stockport were selected as some of the best places to live in the North West and are fast-becoming some of the most desired postcodes in the region.

However, to get a real insight into where is a good place to live, we asked a raft local people where they would select as some of the best places to live in Greater Manchester. Some places picked included Manchester City Centre, Burnage, Heaton Moor in Stockport and Bamford, Rochdale - folk explain why in our video report.
