September 2023 may seem like a long way off yet, but the deadline for primary school applications is coming around fast. Parents need to apply by Sunday 15 January 2023 if their child is due to start school in the autumn this year.
Choosing a school can be a daunting task for parents and luckily there are plenty of resources to help make the right decision, whether they attend school open days or look at Ofsted reports for their top choices.
Additionally, The Sunday Times’ Parent Power 2023 schools guide is an annual ranking of over 1,600 primary and secondary schools, both state and independent. The ranking has been calculated using the Standard Assessment Test (Sats) results from 2019 and was updated in December 2022.
Here are the 11 highest ranking primary schools within the Manchester postcode area.
