The Sunday Times has released its annual rich list of the 350 wealthiest people in the country and 20 Mancunian or Manchester-related names have made the list.
The wealthiest Manc by far is Ineos founder and co-owner of Manchester United, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who is originally from Failsworth in Oldham. He is the fourth richest person in the UK with a net worth of £23.519bn.
This year has seen the largest fall in the number of billionaires in the list’s 36-year history, according to the Sunday Times, dropping from its peak of 177 in 2022 to 165 this year.
Here is the full list of 20 local billionaires and millionaires featured in the Sunday Times Rich List 2024.

4. Henry Moser and family (£1.918bn.)
