Stagecoach Manchester announce extra buses in the lead up to Christmas- here’s when they will run until

The extra services will help people heading into the city centre

The countdown to Christmas is on, and many people will be spending the next few days heading across Greater Manchester. For anyone making journeys and you would rather not drive, Stagecoach Manchester has made a useful announcement.

The bus operator is to run extra services in the lead up to Christmas. The services will be ideal if you are heading to the Christmas markets,, meeting up with friends, or just feel like getting out and about.

Single bus fares are available for £2, and you can get a day ticket for £5. The extra services will be in addition to those already timetabled, and will run until Saturday December 23.

Rob Jones, Managing Director of Stagecoach Manchester said: “We’re happy to announce the additional buses to support the people of Greater Manchester during such an important time of the year.

“We’d also like to thank our customers for being so patient over the last few years and would like to reassure everyone that we are back to delivering reliable bus services with over 99.4% of scheduled bus journeys now operating every day.”
