Tributes from the world of football have flooded in following the death of Manchester united and England legend Sir Bobby Charlton. Sir Bobby was a huge part of United's success in the 1960s and played a key role in England's 1966 World Cup success.

Hundreds of tributes have been left at Old Trafford since the news broke.. Many of these were left at the 'United Trinity' stayed which depicts Sir Bobby alongside George Best and Dennis Law.

Man Utd players and staff paid tribute to Sir Bobby prior to the teams 2-1 win at Sheffield United yesterday. A wreath was placed on the pitch by Utd captain Bruno Fernandes.
