Royal Mail issues warning as severe weather cause delays - full list of Greater Manchester postcodes

Royal Mail has issued a warning that some postcodes in the Stockport area in Greater Manchester are experiencing postal delays due to the recent severe weather. On their website, the postal services has issued a warning on the affected postcodes, as recent amber and yellow weather warnings have caused delays.

Royal Mail said: “Following the recent amber weather warning customers in areas affected by snow and ice may experience some disruption to delivery and collection services. The majority of services are running as usual, but whilst we work to recover service there may be some disruption in parts of the Midlands, North East and North West England, North Wales and Scotland.”

Large areas of northern England have seen heavy snowfall in the past week, and the weather led to chaos on the M62 with queues lasting up to 7 hours between Manchester and Leeds. However, a new yellow weather warning for heavy rain has been issued in the Greater Manchester and North Western England regions from Thursday March 16.

For now, however, Royal Mail has said they are operating as normal and are working to catch up on delayed deliveries. Here are all the postcodes affected by delays in the Greater Manchester area.
