A quirky secret bar lies hidden beneath Manchester city centre, celebrating all things Christmas with those lucky enough to know where to find it.

Miracle on Cross Street - Manchester's only Christmas Grotto bar for adults - can be found in the basement of Salt Dog Slims just off St Ann's Square in the city centre.

The secret bar is back for its second year in Manchester, and Christmas-loving adults can indulge in some festive drinks and unlimited mince pies in a grotto-inspired venue - a treat for all the senses

Open for a limited time - just six weeks of the year - between November 17 and December 24, Miracle on Cross Street is already proving extremely popular and is urging guests to book in advance so they do not miss out on this unique festive experience.

The speakeasy-style Christmas-themed bar is an excellent place to relax and unwind at this time of year, and we headed down into the basement to check it out for ourselves.
