The professional boxer talks about ‘the minute before’ a fight as he advertises the brand’s Only The Brave aftershave.

Tommy Fury has shown off his “incredible” body in the latest Diesel Fragrance advert. The professional boxer, 24, talks about “the minute before” a fight while advertising the brand’s Only The Brave aftershave.

Dressed in Diesel jeans and a Diesel white vest, which soon comes off, the new dad says: “When I’m standing there behind the curtain, waiting to walk out to the ring, I think to myself how hard I’ve trained and how much I have sacrificed. I fight for my family and the legacy I want to leave behind for my daughter. Turning my words into actions and coming out victorious. That to me is bravery.”

Comments have come flooding in for Tommy, who beat YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul in a highly anticipated bout in February this year. However, opinions on the professional boxer’s latest venture with Diesel have been mixed, with some fans calling him “amazing” and other hateful followers claiming he’s just a “bar brawler”.

One delighted fan wrote, on the Instagram post which has gained over 42,000 likes in 24 hours: “🔥🔥🔥 Tommy ! What an incredible ad! 🔥🔥🔥”, whilst another added: “God damn that’s a good looking dude.”

However, negative comments were also made after the advert was uploaded on Tuesday (30 May), with one writing: “Bravery? You call out YouTubers mate”, and another adding: “‘How much I’ve sacrificed’? What in your one fight in two years against a YouTuber.”
