Tommy Fury has revealed that he rushed to a Tesco store before its 6am opening time to buy medicine for his two-month-old daughter.

The professional boxer, 23, from Manchester, welcomed his first child Bambi with influencer girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague in January.

The new father posted a photo on his Instagram story of him holding two bottles of Gripe Water, writing: “Duty calls when the little one has an upset stomach”.

Tommy also added a digital clock to the post, showing his 5.1 million followers that it was 6:06am.

Molly-Mae, who he met on Love Island in 2019, confirmed on her Instagram story that Tommy was “waiting at the doors of Tesco when it opened”.

In the same story, where you can see her hugging Bambi, who is wearing a white and grey bear-patterned baby grow, the mother-of-one described the liquid as her “number one top product for a newborn with trapped wind”.

She then used her social media platform to explain how Gripe Water “saves her life”.

The Pretty Little Thing Creative Director wrote: “I used to walk past this in the shops and thinking ‘what an old fashioned looking product’, now it literally saves my life.

“We just dip her dummy in it and it calms her SO much”.

Gripe water can be used to help relieve gas in babies by breaking down trapped air bubbles that cause wind when other methods of soothing like massage or tummy time haven’t worked.

The couple’s sleepless night came just a week after Molly-Mae admitted she was struggling with motherhood in an 11-minute video posted to her YouTube.
