Nathan Aspinall secured his first PDC tour card in 2015, but it was a dramatic few months in 2019 that saw him truly arrive on the darts scene. The year kicked off with his joint best performance at the World Championships, reaching the semi-finals.

In March, Aspinall won his first televised event when he came out on top at the UK Open. The three-day event held at Butlins Resort in Minehead saw Aspinall defeat former world champion Rob Cross in the final.

Just months later, in July 2019, Aspinall was victorious once again in a TV tournament. Swapping Somerset for Las Vegas, the man from Stockport battled it out with 15 other players and came out on top in the final against Michael Smith.

The Premier League has been a mixed bag for Aspinall, and in 2020 he reached the final. He lost to Glen Durrant, in a tournament that started in February but didn’t finish until October due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
