Molly-Mae Hague has revealed that she can no longer breastfeed daughter Bambi because “her milk supply gave up”.

The Love Island star, 23, welcomed her first child with boyfriend Tommy Fury, who she met on the ITV show, on 23 January this year.

The PLT Creative Director has gained over 514,000 views on her ‘first vlog back since having a baby’ after posting it on YouTube yesterday.

In the video, Molly-Mae opened up about why she had to make the switch to bottle feeding for her 10-week-old baby.

The blonde beauty explained that she was having periods and that her milk supply “completely dried up”.

She told her fans, who had been asking lots of questions about her breastfeeding experience: “I exclusively breastfed Bambi for six weeks, which I am actually proud of as I didn’t know how breastfeeding was going to go for me.

“My supply completely and utterly gave up on me. The poor baby was literally trying to breastfeed off me and was getting nothing.”

The new mum recently admitted on Instagram that she was “exhausted” and having a baby was “100% harder than she imagined.”

Molly-Mae said: “Our feeds were actually taking two hours.

“She was literally latched on to my boob for two hours at a time to get one feed, and sometimes even after that two hours of being latched, after that feed was ‘done’, she still wouldn’t have got enough. Half an hour later she’d be crying for more.”

The Love Island star added: “I didn’t have any pain when I stopped breastfeeding, I did it super gradually. I kept pumping for a while and then just completely brought it to a close, and yeah that was the end of my breastfeeding journey.”
