Molly-Mae Hague divides fans as she gets a new haircut. The Love Island star, 23, posted a picture of her fresh bangs and lovely long blonde hair to Instagram last night (9 May).

The new mum, who welcomed daughter Bambi with boyfriend Tommy Fury in January, took two selfies from inside her luxury Jeep car and wrote: “Got bangs x”.

Molly-Mae’s sister Zoe and her Love Island bestie Maura Higgins, as well as Australian Youtuber Tammy Hembrow and Love Island’s Kendall Rae Knight were among those to support the new look, commenting with various fire and heart eye emojis between them.

However, the stunning selfie and new hair style divided fans, with one questioning: “That’s a bang?”, another commenting: “Those aren’t really bangs”, and a third adding in agreement: “They ain’t bangs”.

Meanwhile, positive comments also came flooding in with one user telling the Love Island star: “You bang”, and others calling her “beautiful” and “fabulous”.

Bangs is an American word for fringe, which is commonly used in the UK. However, some Instagram users picked up on Molly-Mae’s use of the American word, with one simply explaining: “[B]Angs American term its a fringe”, and another adding: “A fkn fringe. You are not American.”
