Marcus Rashford has reacted to Usain Bolt using his trademark celebration after scoring the opening goal of the Soccer Aid match on Sunday (11 June). The Olympian, who was captain of the World XI team, saw his side to a 4-2 win over the England team at Manchester’s Old Trafford.

The annual Soccer Aid match, started by Robbie Williams in 2006, sees two teams of celebrities go head-to-head in a charity football match to raise money for the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF).

Rashford shared a video of the 100-metre world record holder doing his bespoke finger to the head goal celebration on Twitter. The Manchester United striker, 25, wrote: “Rash X Bolt”, followed by a lightning bolt emoji and a finger emoji pointing to a head emoji.

This year’s match, which was the fifth consecutive time the World XI team have won, saw over £14,500,000 raised for UNICEF. Usain Bolt’s team also celebrated goals from Love Island star Kem Cetinay and former Republic of Ireland captain Robbie Keane.

Meanwhile, former United player Paul Scholes and Sex Education actress Asa Butterfield scored for England, who were captained by Lioness Jill Scott.
