As the King’s coronation approaches, Brits will get another bank holiday this weekend to commemorate the historic occasion. However, if you are one of many people having a street party in Manchester, you may be wondering if bin collections will have an impact on how you can dispose of your rubbish.

Manchester City Council has now confirmed bin collections for the King’s coronation bank holiday will operate as normal, so people are advised to leave their bin out before 7am on the collections day. A spokesperson said: “No bin collection changes over the bank holiday weekend.”
