Hide AdSpeaking on a recent episode of his own podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, the American commentator said he would put all his money on Jones to win, despite The Gypsy King being an “amazing boxer”.
Joe Rogan said: “No one thinks that Tyson Fury could beat Jon Jones in a fight. No one thinks that. Tyson doesn’t think that. You wanna talk about who is the baddest man on the planet? If Jon Jones and Tyson Fury are locked into a room, I’m pushing all my chips on black. Tyson Fury is an amazing boxer but he doesn’t have a fu**ing chance in hell of making it out of that room. Zero chance.”
He explained that the only way Fury could beat Jones is if he caught him “immediately with one punch”, however he added that he doesn’t “see that happening”.

Hide AdTalks of the hypothetical fight come as The Gypsy King has expressed an interest in the world of MMA, which is a form of fighting that allows strikes and can incorporate fighting styles such as Karate. Meanwhile, boxing, Fury’s current forte, only allows punches such as jabs and uppercuts.
Fury has previously trained with British UFC star Darren Till, who began to train in MMA at the age of 17, as well as American champion Nick Diaz, who became a professional MMA fighter just after his 18th birthday.
The Gypsy King is set to return to Wembley Stadium’s boxing ring in July, although his opponent has yet to be finalised, despite a plethora of rumours including Andy Ruiz Jr and Zhilei Zhang. Meanwhile, Jones is on course to return to the UFC cage in November against former heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic.
