Helen Flanagan hits out at troll who told her to ‘spend more time’ with her kids after holiday to Ibiza

Helen Flanagan has slammed an Instagram follower who told her to “spend more time” with her kids. The former Coronation Street star, 32, recently enjoyed a well deserved girls’ trip to Ibiza whilst her three youngsters, who she shares with Bristol Rovers star Scott Sinclair, stayed with their grandmother.

On Monday morning (May 29), Helen shared a posey picture from inside the Wi-Ki Woo Hotel, where she stayed with pal and make-up artist Ashley Elizabeth, as she donned a £150 outfit from SLA The Label, consisting of a Black Freddie Diamante Top and a Romi Diamante Midi Skirt.

Whilst fans called the former Coronation Street actress “gorgeous” and “stunning”, one Instagram user, who recently trolled fellow I’m A Celeb star Emily Atack, wrote: “You need to spend more time with your kids!”.

However, fans soon stuck up for Helen and one replied to the comment, saying: “Is this a joke? She’s always with her kids…” Another added: “She’s with her kids 24/7 and it is her first holiday with friends in ages. Last holiday she had she brought her kids. She is allowed a few days off you know.”

Posting a of the harmful comment on her Instagram story, Helen wrote: “I have never been on a girls holiday like that before as I’ve always stayed at home looking after the kids. Why is everything always on women? X”

Helen continues to co-parent her three children - Matilda, seven, Delilah, five, and Charlie, two - with Scott, who she split with in October last year. Whilst she enjoyed her time on the Spanish party island, the youngsters stayed with Scott’s mum, who Helen gets on “really well” with. She told The Sun: “I was with Scott aged 19-31, so that’s why I get on so well with his mum. So honestly it makes my life so easy because we hang out together. It’s really nice. It’s pretty drama free as I get on really well with her.”
