Charlotte Crosby, who welcomed her first child last year, has reflected on her first Mother’s Day in a new episode of her ‘Charlotte Crosby, Always On’ podcast.

She hinted in her intro that upcoming episodes of the podcast will also include her Geordie Shore housemates’ secrets.

Charlotte, whose daughter Alba is six-months-old, admitted to listeners that she spent her first Mother’s Day hungover.

She confessed: “Me, my mam, Jake, my dad, my mam’s best friend and Alba all went for fish and chips down the beach. I think I was on a really bad two day hangover.

“It was a bad day for me. I really ruined my first Mother’s Day. I just felt lousy.”

Charlotte said that she “didn’t feel right” and lacked the energy to even wash her hair. However, despite her hangover the day ended with a “lovely” snuggle on the couch.

The reality TV star, who shares daughter Alba with boyfriend Jake Ankers, urged her listeners not to compare their baby or parenting methods to other mothers as she listed her first born’s milestones.

Charlotte went on to admit the first thing she had wanted to do after giving birth to Alba was “get my Botox”. She claimed that she had “so many wrinkles on her head” but also stressed that she knows that some people don’t care.

“Each to their own” she added.

Charlotte confessed that she was aware that the comments about her appearance would start escalating, as she quipped: “I like to look like a shiny foreheaded freak of nature”.

Elsewhere in the episode, Charlotte discussed her other passion - Australian Married at First Sight and went on to ask listeners who they would want her to speak to from the current series.

“The last series was shocking but this series is something else,” she said.

The star went on to criticise Melissa, who is one of the brides, saying: “she’s just being a bit of a nasty woman”.

Charlotte debated how involved the producers had been in the plotline. She highlighted how Josh had felt emasculated before admitting that Josh reminds her of her current partner, Jake Ankers.

She described Jake as soft, respectful, kind and caring and in touch with his emotions.

The former Geordie Shore star stated that Jake is “the manliness version of a man you could be.” She respects that he can talk about his emotions and discuss his worries.

“If more men knew this, the world would be a better place,” Charlotte said.
