In landlocked Manchester we are lucky to have plenty of nearby seaside options - including the likes of Southport, Morecambe and Llandudno.
Yet for many of us the one-and-a-half hour journey to Blackpool is the memory that lives longest.
From the first sights of the famous Blackpool Tower, to visiting the piers and beaches or the pull of the popular 'Illuminations', the town certainly has a special place in our hearts.
