Over the Easter weekend, the popular breakfast and brunch chain Moose Coffee shared a picture of the Manchester rapper Aitch at one of their stores.

Taking to their Instagram story, the coffee shop -which now has three sites in Greater Manchester - posted a snap of Aitch with an employee inside the Moose Coffee on York Street.

As well as tagging the branch in question, Moosee Coffe wrote in over-lay text: “lil bank holiday visit from @aitch”

The Moston born star looks right at home in the photo, dressed in comfy white joggers, a beige hoodie and a green beanie as he smiles at the camera.

When asked about their famous visitor, Moose Coffee’s Marketing and Social Media Manager Neve McNamara revealed that the visit wasn’t actually a one off but rather Aitch is a well known fan of the brand.

Neve told Manchester World: “Aitch has visited our store several times over the years and the staff are always delighted to see him.

“He’s an icon in Manchester, especially to our staff, most of who are around a similar age to him!”

Moose Coffee is also no stranger to celebrity customers with past patrons including the rock band The Killers, Liverpool actor Ian Hart and Hollywood star Tom Hardy with his actress wife Charlotte Riley.

Originally launching in Crosby in 2006, Moose Coffee is a family-run breakfast joint, with three venues in Liverpool, two in Manchester and one in Leeds.

Their first ever store, on College Road in Crosby, closed in 2021 but a new Crosby branch at the historic Carnegie Library is preparing to open soon.
