PC Ryan Pointon: Greater Manchester Police student officer charged with sexual assault
The police constable is due in court next month.
Greater Manchester police have confirmed a student officer based in the City of Manchester district has been charged with sexual assault.
PC Ryan Pointon, 27, will appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court on Wednesday 16 March 2022.
GMP said the officer has been suspended from duty, adding: “Misconduct proceedings will recommence upon conclusion of criminal proceedings.”
