Parklife Festival 2023: Party scenes as Manchester festival-goers enjoy the sunshine at Heaton Park

Thousands of festival-goers descended on Heaton Park this weekend for Parklife 2023 – Manchester’s largest festival and the UK’s biggest metropolitan festival.

Revellers enjoyed glorious weather at this year’s Parklife, apart from a brief thunderstorm on Sunday 11 June, which halted proceedings for about 40 minutes. A warning was posted to the festival’s Twitter feed advising attendees not to use mobile phones or hold metal objects like selfie sticks.

This year welcomed some of the biggest names in music to the stage, including the 1975, Little Simz, Self  Esteem and Fred Again.
