The team behind the Deansgate venture are promising somewhere to sip on a cocktail and enjoy food from around the world as well as show off your skating skills.

A new space-themed roller rink is arriving in Manchester and promising skaters an experience that is out of this world.

Paradise Skate World is set to open in Deansgate on Thursday 2 June and will provide somewhere for residents to enjoy a cocktail or two and something to eat as well as get their skates on.

What is Paradise Skate World?

Paradise Skate World is an outer space themed roller rink which has been dreamed up by Junkyard Golf Club founder Chris Legh and their national PR and events manager Sophie-Larissa Houghton.

It will have a high-tech, interactive roller rink and a bar serving up a range of cocktail and Japanese and Mexican bar snacks.

The creators are hoping it will conjure up the awesome scale and wonder of the cosmos for those taking to the rink on their roller skates and will prove a hit on social media.

Sophie-Larissa said: “We are so excited to launch this new concept. We have created an amazing new world where people can escape reality, get lost in music, roller-skate into space, drink incredible cocktails and try out some cool snacks too.

“We will be taking roller skating to new heights, no matter what your level of skating, Paradise Skate World is for all.”

Can I book tickets?

Yes you can book a skating session, which starts at £12.50 per hour, online in advance, with bookings opening from 6 April.
