The development, which will be located inside The Residences, Deansgate Square, will include 160 hotel rooms, sophisticated event spaces, and a Nobu restaurant and bar, all reflecting the brand’s minimalist design, with food including the famous Black Cod Miso will be served, alongside an extensive wine list and cocktails.
It will also feature refined design with thoughtful Japanese details, premium amenities such as Nobu dining and room service, an exclusive swimming pool, spa, podium garden and gym, as well as access to the city through a dedicated experience team.

Additionally, 452 Nobu residences will mark the brand’s entry into the UK’s luxury real estate market, offering refined Japanese-inspired interiors, premium amenities such as an exclusive swimming pool, spa, podium garden, and gym, along with Nobu dining and room service, providing an unparalleled urban living experience.

Nobu was founded in 1994 as a single restaurant in Los Angeles run by chef Nobu Matsuhisa. Robert De Niro famously invested in the restaurant after becoming a regular there and took Nobu to New York. Since then, Nobu has expanded to over 36 restaurants and 50 hotels worldwide.
While an exact opening date is unknown, the project is anticipated to take at least four years to complete, meaning a potential opening sometime around March 2029 or later.
