New accessible Marvel mural unveiled in Manchester to mark release of Daredevil: Born Again on Disney+
and on Freeview 262 or Freely 565
Created by artist Insane51, the mural features a unique style that offers three different perspectives of the image: through a red lens, a blue lens and with the naked eye.
For Daredevil: Born Again, the mural highlights the show’s two lead rivals - Matt Murdock (Daredevil) and Wilson Fisk (Kingpin) - and illustrates how their stark opposition is what ultimately connects them.

This dynamic artwork represents the duality of Daredevil: Born Again, depicting the complex battle between Matt Murdock (Daredevil) and Wilson Fisk (Kingpin), both against each other and themselves.
The fiery red tones reflect Matt Murdock’s struggle to move forward while burdened by his violent past, while the cold blue symbolizes Fisk’s corrupt history that he is trying to escape.
Insane51 said: "As a huge fan of Daredevil, working on this mural was an incredible experience for me.

“It’s amazing to see how my art style connects with the show’s themes, and I love that people will be able to engage with this piece not just visually, but also on a tactile and auditory level.
“Bringing this new interactive element into my work was something I hadn’t done before, and that made the whole process even more exciting."

Sonali Rai, Media, Culture and Immersive Technologies Senior Manager at RNIB, said: “A show about a blind superhero is the perfect catalyst for making public art more inclusive.
“This is an exciting opportunity to ensure that incredible artwork can be experienced by everyone, and we hope it sets a precedent for accessibility to become a standard in public art.”

In Marvel Television’s Daredevil: Born Again, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), a blind lawyer with heightened abilities, fights for justice through his law firm, while former mob boss Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) pursues his own political ambitions in New York.
