National Express announce new Blackpool to London route- which goes via Manchester

National Express has launched a brand new overnight service between Blackpool and London. Each of the services are set to go via Manchester. 

The new 424 service will depart Blackpool before calling in at Manchester. It will then head south on to London- the new service is daily and more information will be available on the National Express website. 

Ed Rickard, Service Delivery Director for National Express, said: “More and more customers are turning to coaches for great value, reliable and sustainable travel. It’s encouraging to see customers making the switch from other modes of transport and choosing our coaches. 

“With significant investment in our new and enhanced services, including a new route from Blackpool to London via Manchester, we are making it even easier for our new and existing customers to save their money for their holiday treats. And by letting us do the driving our customers can enjoy a relaxing, comfortable journey to their summer destinations.

“2023 has been hugely busy across our network so far, giving us confidence that the demand is there. As we roll out more services across our network, we expect to see 21 million customers travelling by coach to get there where they need to be.”
