Manchester’s best vegan food according to locals as city is named the UK’s top vegan friendly hotspot

Manchester has been named the most vegan-friendly hotspots in the UK, according to new research.

The study, conducted by holiday lettings specialist Holiday Cottages, revealed the percentage of vegans and vegetarians in Manchester, as well as the number of residents who may consider going vegan.

Results revealed that 22% of people in the city claim to be vegetarian or vegan, with 29% considering a vegan or veggie diet and 41% of meat eaters wanting to reduce their consumption.

The city has some top veggie and vegan restaurants and eateries from Bundobust to V-Rev - so we headed out on the streets to ask people what they thought for our video report.
