Forecasters have predicted temperatures will climb steadily up through the 20s as the week continues - peaking at about 30C on Thursday in Manchester with bright sunshine all day.
It comes just weeks after another heatwave saw Manchester record its hottest ever day.
With that in mind, we asked people on the streets of Manchester how they like to cool down on a hot day.
