Manchester Piccadilly to London Euston latest: Passengers warned as services delayed and cancelled

Train services towards London are set to be affected today due to damaged overhead lines near the capital. Services run from Manchester Piccadilly station down to London Euston, with delays and cancellations expected.

According to route planner Trainline, there are around three services an hour from Piccadilly to Euston. At present, the search shows cancelled and delayed services which look set to continue for the rest of the day.

A spokesperson for Network Rail said: "Due to damage to the overhead wires near London Euston services towards London may be delayed or cancelled. Engineers are on site working to repair the damage as soon as possible. Please check before you travel. We are sorry for the disruption caused."
