Police in Rochdale are investigating after a boy died following a suspected dog attack. Greater Manchester police were called by paramedics at 1.15pm on Sunday May 15 to an address at Carr Lane, Milnrow. A three-year-old boy was taken to hospital where he was sadly pronounced dead.

Manchester will pay its respects to the 22 people killed in the Manchester Arena terror attack, five years on. The anniversary will be marked on 22 May, with tributes to those who lost their lives with acts of remembrance being held throughout the city centre.

And Pride in Trafford kicks off on Tuesday. Now in its third year, the LGBTQ+ festival has a diverse range of performances ranging from drama and storytelling to photography, comedy and cabaret, taking place at venues around the borough until Saturday.
