Manchester Marathon 2024: Full route for this year's race announced- here's where runners will start and finish

The Manchester Marathon has long been a well-established event in the city, with thousands of runners taking part. This year is set to be no different, with a varied route set to take participants in and around the city and surrounding region.

Hide AdThe route itself has been finalised for the 2024 event. Runners will begin their race at the Trafford Arch and plenty of the Manchester city sites will be taken in, including Old Trafford and Salford Quays.
Details of the route on the Manchester Marathon organisers site reads: “Featuring the anticipated return of the city centre segment and the much loved vibrant streets of Greater Manchester, the 26.2-mile course awaits over 30,000 participants in less than six weeks.

Hide Ad“Participants can get set to enjoy this flat PB-friendly course that boasts landmarks such as Old Trafford; exciting route activations and music; and of course, the amazing electric energy from 125,000 spectators who will cheer their hearts out to the finish line.”

The Manchester Marathon will take over the streets of Manchester and the surrounding area on Sunday, April 14.
