We went down on opening day for a sneak preview of some of the work on display over the next few weeks.

The exhibition we were able to preview was Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama's larger-than-life exhibition: 'You, Me and the balloons', which was an extraordinary display of inflatables and colour inside the Warehouse space in Aviva Studios.

You can find more information about the upcoming Manchester International Festival events all over the city - both free and paid for - here.
