Six of the charges relate to an incident on Sunday 26 March in which a six-year-old girl was injured by dogs in Trafford.

The other two charges are in relation to an incident last December. It is alleged this happened in the same location and a man in his 20s and his dog were both hurt.

Valentine has also been charged with possessing Class B drugs and is currently in custody after being remanded. He is due to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (30 March).
