Manchester Airport: Ryanair announces two new routes and 30 jobs ahead of busy winter 2024 schedule
The airline has confirmed that 30 new jobs will be created at the airport this coming winter. This is through an expansion to operations in Manchester, which will see another aeroplane based at the travel hub.
Ryanair is set to operate a total of 36 routes from Manchester Airport this winter. This number has grown following the announcement that flights will depart for Memmingen in Germany and Tangier, Morocco.

Hide AdRyanair has also added extra winter flights on 36 popular routes from Manchester, including city breaks like Barcelona, Budapest, and Milan, as well as Winter sun hotspots, like Alicante, Malaga, and Malta.
Ryanair’s Head of Communications, Jade Kirwan said: “As the UK’s no.1 low fares airline, Ryanair is pleased to announce our 17th based aircraft and 2 new routes – Memmingen and Tangier – for Manchester this Winter. Ryanair will operate a total of 65 routes to/from Manchester this Winter with extra flights added on 36 of our most popular routes, including city breaks like Barcelona, Budapest, and Milan, alongside Winter sun hotspots, like Alicante, Malaga, and Malta, giving our Manchester customers even more choice and regular connections at the lowest fares in Europe.

We’ve operated to/from Manchester for over 35 years now, during which time we have invested heavily in the region, including our 17 Manchester-based aircraft which represent a $1.7bn investment and support of over 6,200 local jobs.”
