Manchester Airport has suspended Security FastTrack bookings as the problems at the international travel hub for passengers continues.
The facility’s website shows that it is currently not possible to pay extra for the time-saving express lane at security and passport control.
The airport said bookings have been suspended at peak times at the moment due to how busy operations are.
It said it has done this to ensure that the quality of service customers would expect from their FastTrack booking can be guaranteed.
The airport also said anyone with an existing booking for the express lane will be unaffected by the new move.
On the website the airport apologised to anyone hoping to make a new fast-track booking for the inconvenience caused.
It said the passport control FastTrack is still available at Terminal 1.
The issue is the latest to affect the venue in what has been a very difficult few weeks, with huge queues at the terminals due to staff shortages and problems with lounge bookings being cancelled and refunded at just a few days’ notice.
Passengers took to social media to air their frustrations with the new problem.
