What started out as PT sessions in the garden back in lockdown has turned into a family-run business adventure for the trio and will be run by his son Arron and daughter Alicia.

The pair have been training to become qualified personal trainers and will operate the facility between them.

Based on Lees Road, the £500,000 gym occupies a 10,000 sq. ft area and boasts state-of-the-art equipment.

For Paul, Arron and Alicia it was important that the gym offered a sense of community.

Oldham is where Paul grew up and got a first taste of sport, he said the gym is the type of venue he dreamed of having access to back when he was younger.
