Teen charged with death by dangerous driving in Pemberton after woman dies and two hurt on Ormskirk Road


A teenager has been charged following a collision in which a woman died and two men were badly hurt in Pemberton.
Jacob Gaskell, 19, of Malborough Avenue, Ince, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving, whilst disqualified, whilst unlicensed/ uninsured, serious injury by dangerous driving, whilst disqualified and failing to stop.

Hide AdHe has been remanded in custody until a hearing at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates Court on Monday (11 April)
At around 9.20pm on Friday (8 April), Greater Manchester police were called to a report of a collision involving a Land Rover Freelander and a pedestrian on Ormskirk Road, Pemberton.
A woman in her 40s died and two men were seriously injured.
A second man who was also arrested has been released under investigation.
