A man has been charged with the attempted kidnap of a schoolgirl in Salford.
Police issued an appeal earlier this week after a 15-year-old girl reported a man had tried to get her into a car on Monton Green. Police have now charged Sean Anthony Gillings, 33, of no fixed address, in connection with the incident. He remains on bail in connection with two other attempted kidnap reports in the Salford area which police are investigating. Gillings was today (30 November) remanded in custody to appear at Manchester Crown Court on Wednesday 4 January 2023.
