Liam Gallagher has been forced to cancel a gig in Paraguay due to ‘extreme weather’. The former Oasis singer is currently touring South America in support of his latest album, C’mon You Know, and was due to appear at Kilkfest in the capital Asunción.

Hoewer, only a few hours before the concert was due to start, Gallagher tweeted: “Paraguay – we’ve been advised that the show can’t happen tonight due to extreme weather. Our team and the festival have done everything we can to try and make it work but safety is paramount.”

Liam added: “Morning beautiful people of Paraguay I’m absolutely gutted we couldn’t play for you you have been absolutely incredible so welcoming I promise we’ll be back I love you stay safe LG x”

It was also announced that Kilkfest would be cancelled due to the extreme weather conditions, and festival goers were advised via social media alerts to keep their tickets and wristbands and await further information. Liam Gallagher was supposed to be the headliner of the day, following Arctic Monkeys who headlined on Friday (November 10).

Kilkfest was due to be the first stop on Liam Gallagher’s South American tour, before heading to Sao Paulo and Rio De Janeiro in Brazil and ending in Mexico City on Saturday November 19. The other concerts are going ahead as planned.

Back home, however, the Rock ‘n’ Roll Star singer is launching a Christmas collection including a wrapping paper covered with his face, a bauble, a santa hat, Christmas stockings and more. The wrapping paper features 65 images of Liam’s face per sheet, and is available for £5.

The Manchester singer is also selling a teapot for £34.99 and shot glasses for £8.99. So even if you don’t get that long awaited Oasis reunion for Christmas, you might still get a little piece of Gallagher under the tree.
