The Department of Education has released the latest Progress 8 scores for schools across the country.

Progress 8 measures the academic performance of schools and pupils who sat GCSE examinations. Each school is given a positive or negative score based on how pupils have performed in their GCSEs compared to the Standard Assessment Tests (SATs) in Year 6.

Here are all the scores for secondary schools in the Manchester local authority. The average score for Manchester was -0.02.

These are the provisional results and so there may be slight alterations following the incorporation of any remarked exam papers. Updated Progress 8 scores will be released in February 2024.
