Average house prices vary dramatically across the different neighbourhoods of Manchester, according to new figures published by the Office for National Statistics (ONS).
The average price paid for a home in the cheapest neighbourhood, Harpurhey North, was less than half the amount an average property in the most expensive area, Chorlton South, would have set a buyer back. The figures are based on ONS analysis of HM Land Registry data on the prices paid for properties in the year up to September 2022.
