There were a record number of entrants for the awards. The ceremony is set to take place right here in Manchester on September 19. Unfortunately there were no Greater Manchester pubs amongst the 2022 winners, so fingers will be crossed for some local success this time around.
On their social media page, The Old Abbey Taphouse said: “A big shout out to our amazing team, all our volunteers and everyone who makes The Old Abbey Taphouse the eccentric creative community hub it is. It's lovely to be recognised for all our hard work on a National level.”
The team at Puss in Boots said: “We are finalists in this year's Best Pub for Families category at the Great British Pub Awards!
